how do I add a calendar view in a Dashboard?
Hello - I have searched the community and have found a "work-around", but it doesn't work. I am trying to show a calendar view of a clients project on a client dashboard. I only want them to be able to see it. I don't want them to have any any interaction, just see it as a reference. Is this possible? Thank you.

We shouldn't have to publish our calendar publicly to the web in order to display it on a dashboard. This function should be baked into the core product.

Hi
if you are using Dashboard, I suggest you get copy the URL of your main sheet first thru embed code,
add this in the widget as
once you add this it will show your main sheet and from the header you can choose calendar view
you can choose to view only or edit when selecting the publish link
it will look like the sample below, this is embedded in my Dashboard as a Web Widget
hope this helps you

It seems like a majorly missed opportunity to not include a calendar widget in the dashboard. The coding would be so simple and would make many people very happy and yet this complaint has been ongoing for years. The workaround is not aesthetic and allows far to much information exposed on the web to be a safe or practical solution.
