How can alerts show everyone who is copied on it?

Hi there,

We are using the alert workflow for our invoicing process. In our process, we don't have any one who has to actively approve anything, so that's why we don't use the approval workflow. However, certain people need to be copied on the invoice requests to AP.

I've set up the alerts, but unfortunately no one can see who else received the alert; it just shows the recipient in the email To field. In an ideal world, the people copied on the alert would appear in the alert email's CC field so that AP can confirm the proper people have seen the request.

Is there a way in Smartsheet to set up alerts so that everyone can see everyone who has received it?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to do anything to the To: field, but it's an excellent idea!

The only way I can think of would be to add the recipients to the alert using the placeholder feature.

Thanks so much, Andrée. I actually am using the placeholder functionality now for the subject line and body text. But unfortunately, I can't seem to adjust the "To" field for the email. Although several people are listed as recipients, the emails only list the individual recipient in the To part of the email header. It's in this email header To field area that AP needs to see all the people copied on the alert to satisfy audit requirements.
