Sharing a sheet | specific columns for access
We are using the API feature and have shared a sheet with one of our vendors. They have asked if I can share the sheet that has been created with more members of their team, but they only want the new members to be able to access and update 2 of the columns on the sheet. Is it possible to share the entire sheet with people and set it up so they can only update certain columns?
Thanks in advance

The only thing I can think of is to lock all columns that you do not want altered. This way they would only be able to change the columns you want updated.

Thanks Michele, that is kind of what I was thinking as well. Is there a way to only lock certain columns for certain individuals or would the column lock be global?

To add to Michelle's excellent advice/answer.
A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Dynamic View.
Is that an option?

I hope that helps!
