Change the "from" email address on automated emails

I am the owner but I have sheets built for a user and any time an automation sends an email the recipient sees the following:

FIRSTNAME LASTNAME via Smartsheet <automation@app.smartsheet.com>

I do not want my name on these automation emails, is there a way to change it to

someone (workspace collaborators / users) via Smartsheet...

This is a huge failure and SmartSheet has been absent on this issue. Allowing for a proper FROM name is simple

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Create a so-called general System User Account and name it something general, and then use that instead.

Also, Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Configure the workflow automation to be triggered by the collaborator/user. Smartsheet automation will use that person's email address in the alert/notification. Otherwise it defaults to the email address of the sheet owner.

@Fabian Julian If you transfer ownership of the sheet, the automations should stop coming from you.

@Eva But I am a licensed owner. But my team member to whom I can transfer ownership is unlicensed ? I am unable to transfer ownership. Can you please recommend any other option if available ?

@Fabian Julian Unfortunately, I don't believe there is another option. Transferring of ownership is the only option I'm aware of and as you mentioned, the other person would have to be licensed.

Guess they designed it this way to drive income via licensing

I don't think it was designed to drive income. It's more that it's how it works now with Smartsheet features.
