So many requests like this one! Adding my voice - please work on exporting grouped reports to pdf, at least. Thank you!

This week I've had a couple of customers talk to me about how much they would like this feature. The feeling is that it was fair enough that printing grouped report wasn't supported when the grouping feature first arrived, but it's been too long now to wait for something that is broadly seen as a core requirement.

Yes!! Really need this functionality. The dashboard workaround is "okay" but doesn't always work well, and is certainly much more cumbersome.

1+ for sure on this. I found out over a year ago it was a limitation, forgot about it, and just developed a new report that is dependent on grouping ….. and now remembered. So very sad. PLEASE work on developing this feature ASAP. We need it!

Are there any updates to this development? It seems pretty basic? I was also looking to be able to send the attachment to different users based on the groupings. But reading all of this that seems out of the question.

Nope ! the Dashboard printing settings are very limited and are not a substitute nor a solution to that matter

I just picked up this string and am in disbelief that this most basic functionality doesn't exist. I am a Smartsheet fan and advocate in general but the printing/ PDF output capability is nothing short of bush league. Printing a grouped report without the grouping renders it useless! printing a gantt with no ability to format the grid is terrible. Neither can be submitted to a client or a supervisor. Not sure where the feature focus is but this should be priority as a basic need not a feature. Please tell me this update is imminent!

SOLUTION: Make a dashboard with just the report and have a link to the dashboard for published link and create an automation from the initial sheet with the link to the dashboard in the automated message. Not ideal, but still something… Would rather just send the report as a PDF like everyone else!!!

Since this request to give us the ability to print a reports isn't happening anytime soon, would it help if I said "Pretty Please with a Cherry on Top"? Also, Happy Belated Birthday to this enhancement request. It is two at least years old now. The original request is over 3+ years.

Each and every day I use Smartsheet, I find some piece of basic functionality missing.

Congratulations, I now need to export my project plans from Smartsheet back into MS Project to do something basic. The frustration here is that part of the business case for buying Smartsheet was that it would allow us to stop paying for our MS Project licences.

However, crafting a Statement of Work using Smarthsheet really isn't an option.
