I am starting to think submitting Enhancement Requests do us no good if basic features get brushed off and replaced by Someone's Agenda during their Enhancement or Executive Meetings.
#1 Question To The Enhancement Dept. - Why do we Submit Enhancement Requests if all you're going to do is ignore them?
This request has been on going between two pages since 2021 (see img below) with broken promises. 😫Smartsheets needs to realize that eventually people will get tired of waiting and take their $$ elsewhere.

I would also greatly benefit from the ability to print grouped reports. Looking forward to seeing an update on this critical enhancement.
I would greatly benefit from this!!! Our leadership likes printed paper to show investors, and often times I have to go to excel to print the ways I like the data. It is so frustrating to not have this basic functionality in Smartsheet.

Just checking in to see if there have been any updates on this. The dashboard is not a solution when I am needing a summary report. I need to be able to print summary expense reports for my projects without having to create metric sheets that summarize the totals. This results in 2 different documents needing to be printed. I am really trying to get others to adopt Smartsheet for a lot of their excel processes, and this is still one that is a pain point.

+1 to this request, It would really help
Wondering about the status since the last update is over a year old. I assumed exporting/printing would save my grouping information and summary but of course it didn't. Glad I checked before I sent it out.
This continues to be an issue when trying to share PDF reports with our clients. When the grouping is lost on the PDF export, the report flattens out and provides no value to the client like it does online.
What is the anticipated time frame for this issue to be resolved? It looks like the last response from SS was in 2022.
Thank you for your help in resolving this!
make a function to export report in PDF with grouping option
This is a critical feature. It's a pretty old request, do you have a timeline on when it will be released?
A grouping option for printing reports is an essential feature of creating reports in the first place. Is this something that will be available soon?
Just to add fuel to the fire - this is a feature that I would definitely benefit from and find surprising that it isn't already implemented as it seems common sense and an obvious requirement.
Regarding the dashboard workaround, the line restriction isn't an issue for me however the formatting and scaling of exporting these isn't what I am trying to achieve.
This gap creates a massive headache for me. This change addresses a product gap; it is not a new "feature." If the operational impact is tracked, this should be Critical, as there is no reasonable viable workaround.
I am absolutely gobsmacked that this is even an issue. I am an avid proponent of Smartsheet as it does so many things so well. How the heck is this even an issue?!? What hasn't this been fixed yet?!?
This is something that SHOULD NOT REQUIRE subscribers having to pony up for Dynamic View. C'mon Smartsheet. Do better.
Adding my vote. Please please fix this.
When creating a Report we want to be able to create SUM columns that are on the bottom of the report. Right now, when creating a sum, it sits at the top of the report. Also, when we print the report, the total DOES NOT print. We need to be able to print a report with a total at the bottom of the report that shows up on the printout.
