Workflow Approvals with a drop down feature added?

Is there anyway that when you setup a workflow for an approval automation, that when the reviewer gets the email, can they have a list of rejection notes in a drop down fashion to choose from?

When rejecting submissions our team has like 5 cookie cutter answers that we run into. Would love it if they could have a drop down option to select why they're rejecting it.

I have column setup as a dropdown list of those 5 rejection reasons. If something is declinded it goes back to the submitter with that rejection note. So critical when rewviewing that someone can select from that list.

How do we solve for this in Smartsheet?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now in an Approval, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• You could use an Update Request as the Approval Process and include the different options.
