I have a blank sheet that i want to populate with only the column values from another that contain X

Hello

I have a fresh blank sheet, and another data sheet that for example contains the Columns: Fruits, Fruit price/kg, Inventory, etc

I want to in my new blank sheet have a Fruit column that only includes the ones with string "apple" so data sheet may contain: Pineapple, green apple, red apple, AND, Orange, Banana, Crabapple

So i want my blank sheet to thanks to the function create new rows for each value in the new Apples column like:

Pineapple
Green apple
Red Apple
Crabapple

Ive tried VLOOKUP and Index, these work as long as i have a identifier.. but now im trying to get the identifyer in..

If and Ifthen functions i cant do so that they know to go down the list.. they only give me the first value..

There are alot of differant lists that i only have read permissions to that i need to format into the same. Thats why im not only using report as unfortionatly there is too much variation and i have alot of filtering to do, where this is the last filter that i need to get fixed

I decited to use sheet as i want to display alot of information in later stages that i already have made a sheet for, what im working with now is the data that goes in, so im open for suggestions but for the data sheet im trying to create this would be the last puzzle piece

Yes, all my posts relate to the same problem unfortionatly but a few differant ways of making formulas ive been trying to find a solution to

@Eric Sivacis Yeah, what I'd recommend is creating a row report from your sheet that only includes items that contain "apple" (or "Apple") and then creating a DataMesh that uses that row report as a source and your new sheet as a target and doing the "Copy and Add Data" option so it adds in any new records on the report that have "apple" in them to the target sheet.
