Drop PDF to populate rows
As a sourcing analyst I have to take multiple pricing summaries from our consultants and enter the information into our Smartsheet. Currently that means a lot of copy and pasting and painful data entry. My question: Is there a way I can take the PDF they send me and drop it in Smartsheet and it auto populate my sheet based on column identifiers?

You would need some third party app that can read PDFs and then use the API or another 3rd party app to output the data from the reader into Smartsheet.

Hi Paul. Thank you for your answer. Is there any training videos that you are aware of that would demonstrate how to do this? I have Adobe Acrobat, would that work?

@thcopple Python-SmartSheet integration can make this happen. Using Python, you can extract data from the desired PDFs and map it to the correct columns in Smartsheet.
