Smartsheet Proofs and Version History

We have a Smartsheet where we post Proofs for reviewing artwork. We have an automation that alerts someone when a new proof has been added. From the email link, users can view the proof, but it does not allow them to view version history. If the proof is viewed directly in the sheet, version history is available.

Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted to allow the version history to be available when launching the proof from the email link?
