Can you create a form that will populate a specific row and column of a sheet?

I want to gather the status on specific projects by sending a form. I would like that status to populate a specific row/column of a sheet.

Hi Robert - Web forms cannot update existing rows but check out my response to a similar question which includes a couple workarounds you might consider using: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/tracking-time-spent-tasks-web-forms

Hi Robert, as Travis suggests in his links, a good way of achieving this is setting up a task report which the users can update the data directly from.
