Can you create a Sheet Rollup of all open actions from each project owners sheets?

What about a sheet to roll up all open tasks of each project owners sheets so a managed worked flow to request updates would include all updates needed for all the project owners sheet actions? This way they are not getting a lot of separate emails for updates on each sheet.

Yes, I have an open tasks/actions report but I was not able to request updates from a report. Is there a way?

Hi there, I do think that reports might actually be the way to go! From a report you can manually request updates by clicking on the left-most column and select send update request. Please see my attached screenshot.

@James Gunther Yes, you can if you right-click or click the little menu arrow on the left side of the row(s).

It's also possible to automate it through a workflow and, for example, a checkbox.

I can only seem to request an update on each task at a time. I was looking to request an update on all the task owners actions in one email. How can you automate a workflow on a report?

To have it in one mail I would set up a report with current user. The user who opens the report would only see their assigned tasks.

Make sense? Would that work?

You can email each participant the links to their report and request that they update the status on their projects.

There are several options.

You could send an alert with the link to the report.

You could send the report with a link to the report. 😉

You could send an update request with the link to the report.

You could send a reminder with a link to (you guessed it) a link to the report.

You could send it to all at the same time or select how you would want it to work.

Would any of those methods work?
