Is there a way to use the Jira-Smartsheet Connector so that items that do not match the filter criteria are not brought into the Smartsheet sheet? I'd like to do this so that when my source data exceeds the SmartSheet sheet limits it does not break the sheet and downstream workflows associated with the sheet.
Hi @GTBHI2022
You can set up JQL (Jira Query Language) to filter your data. Here's the Smartsheet article on Jira filtering:

So does that mean that when I'm in this screen, when setting up my connector, selecting a field and using the built in filter will not filter my results. I actually need to write a 'Custom JQL' query in that section at the bottom of the drop down in order to prevent the filtered items from being available in the SmartSheet sheet?
Hi @GTBHI2022
You can use that built in filter or create a Custom JQL filter, either-or!
Keep in mind that if your data changes and current rows no longer meet your filter criteria, they'll still be in the sheet but they will move under the "Filtered out by Connector—not synced" parent row.
