Pass the mic 🎤 Community Champions
Community Champions are members who demonstrate product expertise and generosity in sharing best practices and support with others on the platform.
"One, don't be afraid to experiment and make it a group activity in Community. Try something out, you won't break anything. Second, don't be afraid to ask for help. There is a wealth of learning material out there and if that doesn't solve your problem, the Community has your back.”

Overachiever's Motivation Mix
The Smartsheet Overachievers are here to give you the songs that will keep you going and keep you achieving! Here’s what’s on the playlist right now.
“I love 80s music – in fact listening to an 80s channel as I write this! Take On Me gets you ready to shimmy your shoulders right from the start with the iconic drums and keyboard notes. Any chance to sing an extended falsetto note can’t be wrong. It’s just a great song to get pumped up for whatever thing it is you need pumping up for! Need to take on the day? Blast Take On Me!”

Zoom In
Please add a Zoom In feature! Excel (and the rest of Microsoft Office) has a bar at the bottom where you can zoom in or out.
I am often sharing my screen on virtual calls to show people Smartsheets. If I am using a large monitor and they are using a small laptop screen, the image is condensed and the text is hard to read. The only solution I have found in SS is to make the font 14+ points.
On Grid and Gantt view we really need in Zoom In ability.
Re: Join the conversation on STEM education and help nurture the next generation of visionaries
One of the women in STEM that inspires me is Emily Calandrelli. She is a fellow WVU alum! Emily has done some great work for NASA, but is primarily a science communicator and educator. In particular, she created and filmed an educational science show, Emily's Wonder Lab, while pregnant. Providing this representation is SO important for kids and adults alike, and she's a great role model for girls wanting to get into STEM.
Re: What does it look like to operate at your peak? 💭 Join the conversation
I operate at Peak Human when I'm operating with Peak Humans :) I'm very much energized by collaborators that are excellent at what they do and help me to be excellent at identifying what needs to be done and doing it. When I'm partnering with people who are enthusiastic, engaged, considerate, and efficient, I always find myself being more so! I stay operating at Peak Human by finding ways to collab with those who inspire me and work well with me to help goals be made.

Re: What does it look like to operate at your peak? 💭 Join the conversation
When I am at my peak, it's when I'm helping others. At work, that means helping to get our studio interviews booked in a timely manner, making sure accuracy all of the myriad of data in all of our sheets/pages within Smartsheet -SS, as we call it in house, not to be confused with Sunday School. :)
I even use SS for home - tracking our cell phone bill so each participant knows the amount they owe, our yearly Christmas gift budget and what has been purchased (this is such a great help!).
I get recharged to operate at my peak by being with our family, baking homemade sourdough breads, canning, but especially through our amazing women's bible study group and our church family. It's my fuel for life.
Last, is the beautiful mountains I see every morning on my way to work.

Re: Single Row Timeline
Related request on the topic timeline views: It would be great to have a timeline view that placed activities in the highest available row to minimize dead space. This would be great for reporting to senior leadership. Example below:
Re: ENGAGE recap & more: Community Corner Newsletter [October 2023]
@Rebeca S. I'd love to find out more abut how you are keeping track of your growing book collection! I have built a couple of "library reference" type solutions but am always looking for new ideas.

Preview all files and attachments: Excel, word, etc
Idea - Opening a preview of an Excel file (similar to the current PDF previews) when it is an attachment on a row in my Smartsheet.
Example from my work - I really would appreciate the ability to preview Excel sheets so we can tell if the document submitted is our new Fiscal Year 24 form or the "old" fiscal year forms that we are rejecting.
Thanks!

Celebrating the Community with Smartsheet Swag!
Exciting news, Smartsheet Community!
As part of our Reward Program, we want to celebrate your contributions to the Community. Members who became Leaders & Ambassadors recently will receive surprise Smartsheet swag soon, but we also want to celebrate those of you that are slowly and steadily moving up the ranks.
Seekers, Contributors, and Counselors, keep an eye on your inboxes, because we'll be reaching out to a select number of members from each rank to send you swag as well 🤩
We'll select members from each rank randomly, but if you want to proactively share your shipping information in advance, for this or future Smartsheet swag opportunities, you can fill in this optional form.
Note: Filling in the optional form doesn't increase your chances of being selected. This information will only be used to deliver your swag and for no other marketing purposes.
Rebeca S.
Re: Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!
Hi everyone! My name is Shelley. EEEEeeek! This is my debut in the Community as a business owner rather than an associate with my prior employer of twelve years! I recently decided to leave my comfort zone and venture out into small business consulting. Smartsheet was my #1 inspiration. I've been using Smartsheet for 5 yrs in the financial services industry (specifically banking Operations)...I'm a total SS junky and I am very much looking forward to being my own boss, managing my own goals and helping others to explore and utilize everything that SS has to offer. My motto is work smart/smart work...Let's gooooo!
