Re: Creating an automated report
Excellent!
Happy to help!
You can set up a recurring send-out of the Reports as a PDF or Excel file. I'll get back with more information in a flash. 😉

Re: Exporting Report's with Grouping
@SSFeatures Thank you for the information! It would definitely be a lifesaver for my team is we could have it export as an excel! That makes sense as far as automation, appreciate the explanation.
Re: Override Ability on Max # of Columns to be Deleted at One Time.
Hi @virgh
The ability to delete more than 5 columns has been released this week! You will need to switch over into Table View to complete the task.
Here's more information:

Re: Adding a dashboard link to a different dashboard
Hi all,
Yes, there was an ongoing investigation into this exact issue: Dashboard assets no longer appearing as an option to select as a shortcut widget. This had been escalated and should now be resolved!
If you're still not seeing them as an option, please sign out and then sign back in again. 🙂
Cheers,
Genevieve

Re: Are there any AI tools that can mine Smartsheet files for analysis
Thanks! Sounds like a webinar interesting enough to get my workday started at 7am!
Re: Not able to drag folders/sheets to new location
Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
It's probably because Smartsheet is moving away from the Sheets folder.
More info:
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

Re: May Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
If I had to explain it to a 5-year-old, I’d say this:
“I help grown-ups get unstuck. If their team is confused or things feel messy, I swoop in like a helper superhero to show them better ways to work together, stay organized, and actually finish things. I use charts, plans, and a little bit of computer magic to make it happen.”

How would you describe your job to a five-year-old?
My official title is Curriculum Financial Analyst & Administrative Liaison, but if I were to describe my job to a five-year-old, I would simply state, "I help others by creating ways to keep watch over the money that we use to make purchases for the books and other supplies for your school's classrooms. It is my job to keep everything organized, kind of like when you visit your classroom libraries, or like when you have to put your stuff away in your room, everything has a place and everything in its place. That way, when somebody needs to find something, they know exactly where it is when they go to look for it. It is also my job to help my boss out so she can help your teachers do their jobs because you kids are what matter most and are why we do what we do as grownups, we take care of you and help you grow and learn each and every day!"
Community Corner Newsletter [May 2025]
Hello Community and happy May! How are we all feeling about finally seeing spring sprung? I am beyond thrilled. Living in New York after a little over 4 years now I truly understand how important it is to my mental health to see daylight early and nature back to life after very long and quiet winters. I feel both lucky and honored to deliver this month’s Community Corner Newsletter following in the footsteps of the great Alison Clancy’s April issue. Enjoy!

Overachiever's Motivation Mix
The Smartsheet Overachievers are here to give you the songs that will keep you going and keep you achieving! Here’s what’s on the playlist right now.
DREAMS COME TRUE - 「何度でも」
“This song is about the importance of facing challenges, getting back up after every failure, and continuing to challenge oneself without giving up. In particular, the main lyric, "Even if I fail 10,000 times, the 10,001st time might bring a change" symbolizes the importance of persevering and continuing to make efforts without giving up. Their songs and her singing have lifted me from hard times when I felt defeated.”

I help a large team ensure everything works just right, like when Bandit and Chilli get everyone out the door on time! We create effective plans, select the right tools, and ensure everyone knows their assigned tasks. It’s kind of like being the grown-up in a big game of pretend, where I help the team work together behind the scenes so the stores can do their part and everything goes smoothly, just like a good game of Keepy Uppy!
