I am using the Document Generator to send an attachment from my sheet to an external user. I do not want them to view the underlying sheet nor do I want to send them a link to the sheet and then have them get the experience of clicking the link and then getting an error due to the fact they do not have access. More…
User of our Smartsheet based solution would like to have an option to filter one sheet and keep that filter synced on the report. That might be beneficial especially with large information set to have that "switchable" option.
Maybe I've been spoiled by Excel, but I miss the formula helper. It would be great if SS had such a thing, it would make creating formulas, especially the complex ones, much smoother.
There needs to be a way to view formulas in an expanded view. Currently, it's tough to see extra commas or discern between a curly bracket and regular and so on. This is especially difficult with long and/or complicated formulas. Without a formula helper like in Excel, being able to expand the view is crucial and save our…
Reports with multiple source data such as Project Manager, Size of Project, and # of Projects per PM- Should be able to translate nicely into a stacked graph. Have yet to find a way to do this without being suggested that we need to create a metrics sheet for each project to then roll into a portfolio metrics sheet. If the…
Currently in Sheet Summary, there is no option for a Multi-Select Drop down field. The request is to incorporate multi select to the drop down field option within Sheet Summary.
Would love to be able to acknowledge a comment/callout within the conversation feature without that action over-riding what appears on the Latest Comment column. i.e i want to acknowledge that i am being tasked with something via the conversation feature by entering a "thumbs up" or "eyes" emoji, without having to override…
For reports sourcing from Sheet Summary Data, you would like to be able to: right-click the Sheet Name link and "open in a new window" You could do this only if the the report is Row-Report sourced. Would like the same functionality for a Summary Sheet Report.
We are currently only able to build reports sourcing from EITHER row data or Sheet Summary data. The request here is to have an option to source from both.
This simple function would enable (or simplify) formulas. Autonumbering is the current alternative but requires a column and is clunky. ROW() is helpful to grab cross-sheet data via INDEX when there are multiple sheets with the same row structure but different access permissions.

I often have to navigate to the data source of a dashboard widget to make updates, however there is not a direct link to the data source, and sometimes the naming of the source does not make it easy or clear to find. It would be very helpful if there was a button next to data source to "Open Data Source in a New Tab" or…
This is currently not possible. If enabled, it would help a lot of users who rely on OneNote. See this community discussion dating back 5 years with no resolution.
We have one blueprint has over 370 projects and after 2 years in, our process changed and I need to add Summary row to one of the sheet. Currently we are unable to do this with Global update since Summary row did not existed before in this particular sheet.
