Planned vs Actual Charts
Hi everyone! Looking for suggestions on how to show planned vs actual in chart format. In Excel, we can have a line that shows numbers or percentages for planned and another for actual and then put it into a chart which shows the planned line and then actuals in a bar graph. I've provided an example below. Looking to do…

Creating Line Chart Across Quarters
I’m trying to build a dashboard that shows a line chart of average quarterly survey scores for each recruiter. Here's what I want to achieve: Each line represents a recruiter. The X-axis shows quarters (e.g., Q1 2025, Q2 2025, etc.) The Y-axis shows the average survey score I want to visualize trends over time for each…

Stacked Bar Charts from Multiple Columns
I found another idea from about 2 years ago that hadn't been updated, so I figured I would ask if this is already on the radar/roadmap. I would like to have the ability to use a stacked bar chart on my dashboard to show projects by Department and by Status. Here's an example I mocked up in Excel to show kind of what I'm…

Text Values showing as zeros in Scatterplot
I have a sparse data set that I am trying to plot on a dashboard, and we were using a line graph, but because the data is so scattered it doesn't present well: If I hover over the graph you can see the missing data points: So I thought I would try a scatter plot, but when I do all the "zeros" show up: These data are…

Column and Line Graphs not displaying percentages
Hi, My graphs on my dashboard are not displaying percentages (rather decimal numbers) when hovered over. All the data is in percentage format, and it is desktop application. This has recently changed, as before they were properly displaying percentages. How can I change it back? If this is something the dev team is working…

Change the "Select Data Source" UI for Chart Widgets Back
The new UI for selecting the data source for a chart widget in a dashboard has increased clicks and made it more difficult at times to select the correct source. Seeing the sheet or report data displayed in the same window as the source selector similar to creating a cross sheet reference is much more user friendly.

How do I add colors to a custom chart series theme within the dashboard?
I was working on creating a custom theme, and when I did that it populated with several colors for chart series colors. I began removing them because they weren't the colors I wanted and I saw a "+" button to add colors I did want. Now it won't do anything when I try to click the plus sign to add a new color. I'm stuck…

New chart labels are tiny
Smartsheet intended to modernise the look of the charts but it makes ours illegible. The labels at the end of the lines used to be visible but now they are tiny so unless I make the chart twice as big for no reason, it's useless. It's part of a dashboard which is why I don't want to increase the size because then viewers…

How can I automate dashboard charts?
Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to Smartsheet and looking for some advice. I'm in the process of building a project portfolio dashboard and would like to automate a 'Workload Distribution' chart. Currently, I have to manually update a separate metric sheet that serves as the data source, however, with how frequently the data…

Why is my line chart not plotting horizontally (flat) for the same value?
I have a line chart showing % change over months; for the same value, I have lines that are not displaying horizontally in the chart and are implying a slight increase/decrease has occurred. The percentages are a simple average of cells in a column. I've verified already that the cells contain the same whole #s (no decimal…

Charts in a Dashboard
How can I change the vertical labels? In this example, it goes from 0% to 35%, but what if I want 0% to 100%? I have tried the "scale to data values" switch, but don't really see any difference.

why do some of my labels not show on my charts?
I have a group of charts and randomly some will not have labels. I can't find a reason why it won't show that makes sense. I thought maybe it was to small a number to show, but it will sometimes show the 6% but won't show 45%, etc. to be clear, I am concerned about the labels that are NOT showing. I would like them to show.
