The ability to apply conditional formatting rules from within a report would be huge. Having to modify the Source sheet for a specific report doesn't seem to be very efficient.
Our team would find it immensely useful to build a dashboard theme (choosing font face, font size, colors) from scratch. We strive for cohesive branding on things we build and being able to change the entire look and feel of a dashboard with just a few clicks would save us a lot of time.
I would like to be able to use Smartsheet groups as recipients within automation workflow notifications instead of listing each user individually.
As rows get added & cell values change, it would great if we could automatically sort them in the sheets themselves instead of having to set up reports. Adding the ability to do this in a workflow would be a fantastic addition. Right now we have to do it manually.
We should be able to view cell history withing WorkApps. I'm very surprised this isn't currently possible!
While it is wonderful that we now have the ability for custom colors on Dashboards, it would be truly helpful to also have this same ability in Sheets. It would be really helpful for some of our projects because our district uses certain colors to call attention to various district initiatives or our district instructional…
I love the Filter Views feature in Smartsheet, but it would be really useful to include Sorting options in the Filter View dialog as well. Some of my filter views require sorting by different columns, and currently it's a bit annoying have to manual sort each time I change a view.
I want to have the form be used to create a row with child rows underneath it, so I don't have to keep doing this manually
For some reason it is not possible to @ someone in commenting and have a list of Smartsheet users populate to @ while in WorkApps. This is very surprising that this is not a current feature in WorkApps? This is widely used functionality in Smartsheet, why not in WorkApps?
It would be helpful to have some control over the size and colour of data labels for charts. e.g. if your dashboard font sizing is consistently a smaller or larger size than the default for data labels, it looks untidy, often data labels appear too large on a chart as a result of the large default font size too.
Hi Community, Welcome to the Product Feedback and Ideas space where you can help shape the future of Smartsheet! We really appreciate your feedback and will take all posts into consideration. It would be helpful if sheet users could create, store, and share customizable views within the sheets, similar to filters. I'm NOT referring to views such as grid, Gantt, cards, etc. This is different. For example, I have a Schedule template with 300+ rows. Current functionality allows me to Expand / Collapse All, but I…
Currently we can overlay calendars with Google calendars and we can publish sheets in calendar view on the Dashboard, however, only the events within the sheet - not the overlay - show up in the Dashboard calendar. Unless a proper sync with Google Calendars is in the works, allowing overlayed calendar events to show up in…
When opening a dynamic view, allow admin to select a default filter. Currently the sheets open with no filter enabled and most of the time would like an "active" or "open" filter to be default.
